Living Our Mission in the Community
Leadership in action across the Valley
At Providence Holy Cross, leadership extends far beyond the medical center. Throughout the year, our leaders actively volunteer alongside trusted community partners — not just as representatives of the medical center, but as neighbors committed to the health and well-being of the San Fernando Valley. It’s one of the many ways we live our mission each day.
Through Community Health programs, the medical center partners with local organizations to expand access
to health education, nutrition resources and wellness opportunities throughout the region. Programs such as the Boys & Girls Club of San Fernando Valley and Food, Education, Access, Support, Together (FEAST) provide youth and families with education, mentorship and practical tools to support healthier lifestyles.
Alongside these efforts, Providence Holy Cross leaders regularly volunteer with local partners and participate in initiatives that promote healthier neighborhoods. Recently, leadership joined North Valley Caring Services in supporting their food distribution efforts — a fellow mission-driven organization extending healing and hope to families throughout the Northeast San Fernando Valley.
Through these partnerships, we are able to reach more people and respond to real community needs. By showing up, volunteering and supporting local organizations, our leaders help strengthen the connections that allow our communities to thrive.
At Providence Holy Cross, leadership means more than guiding care inside the medical center. It means showing up for our neighbors and living our mission every day.
