Congratulations to Our Champion
Boris Borazjani, M.D., named 2026 Philanthropy Physician Champion
Providence Holy Cross Medical Center trauma surgeon Boris Borazjani, M.D., has been named the 2026 Providence South Division Philanthropy Physician Champion in recognition of his extraordinary commitment to patient care, physician engagement and the well-being of caregivers across the medical center.
In one of the most demanding clinical environments, Dr. Borazjani consistently makes time to support the Foundation’s work — providing presentations when requested, attending physician engagement opportunities when possible and serving as a thoughtful, engaged partner despite the realities
of a trauma surgeon’s schedule. His openness to philanthropy and willingness to connect patients with the Foundation reflect a belief in the role charitable support plays in strengthening care beyond bedside.
Equally meaningful is Dr. Borazjani’s dedication
to supporting nurses and frontline caregivers at Providence Holy Cross. Recognizing the emotional toll of trauma care, he made a personal philanthropic gift to fund transcendental meditation therapy for nurses, investing directly in their mental health and resilience.
Through his clinical excellence, generosity and advocacy for those who care for others, Dr. Borazjani exemplifies the spirit of a Physician Champion — leading with compassion and an unwavering commitment to healing.
