Severyn is the president of Aszkenazy Development Inc., a real estate development firm focused on infill development and strengthening local communities. His commitment to revitalizing underserved neighborhoods has made a lasting impact throughout the San Fernando Valley.

A former Los Angeles City Fire Department firefighter, he has also held leadership roles in construction and historic preservation, including founding Pueblo Contracting Services, Inc. Deeply engaged in civic life, he serves on several nonprofit boards, including the Family Fire Foundation, Campbell Hall Episcopal, San Fernando Kiwanis, and as board chair of The Boys and Girls Club of the San Fernando Valley. He and his wife, Martha, are owners of the San Fernando Valley Sun newspaper, continuing their shared legacy of community engagement. Severyn brings his deep community ties and decades of leadership to the Providence Holy Cross Foundation board.
