She is currently president of the Providence Holy Cross Medical Center Guild, where she has served as a volunteer for nearly 20 years. She’s also held the roles of treasurer and editor of the guild newsletter.
Linda lives with her husband in the San Fernando Valley.
What motivates your desire to give back?
My mother always volunteered either in our classrooms or as a scout leader. Volunteering was something that always felt natural to me. The rewards are immeasurable.
Why are you supporting the medical center?
I have always felt blessed to have this wonderful hospital so close to our home. When my volunteering and financial support of my children’s schools came to an end, it seemed a natural progression to support the hospital with my time and treasure.
Why did you agree to join the foundation board?
The PHCMC Guild President has a permanent seat on the Foundation Board. I feel privileged to be part of this board and honored to be representing the PHCMC Guild, which has supported Holy Cross for over 60 years.
