Prior to his career in finance, Arif spent 11 years on the Los Angeles Police Department.
What motivates your desire to give back?
I was raised in Sylmar, California and my family began attending Providence over 45 years ago.
Why are you supporting the medical center?
Providence stood out for its quality of care and service to others, regardless of their ability to pay.
Why did you agree to join the Foundation Board?
I joined the foundation board 12 years ago with the goal to help others in the community recognize the benefits of Providence and motivate them to support the hospital through planned giving or annual contributions.
